Boring Disclaimer: I have not paid for any personal coaching, workshops, or courses in the Wealth Dynamics community. I cannot vouch for nor recommend any programs as I have not taken them. Like all self-help industries, there will be great training and scams, so do your own research and proceed with caution. The only thing I have paid for is the Wealth Dynamics personality quiz and found it helpful.
Since my publication is named WHealthier, it’s only appropriate I have a detailed article on the principles of how to build wealth.
Wealth Dynamics is a profiling system built for entrepreneurs. It helps individuals use their natural personality traits to create wealth.
The principles date back to Chinese philosophy, which has been around for thousands of years. What I love about Wealth Dynamics is how practical it is in applying the information to real life.
Seven Truths of Wealth Dynamics
Founded by Roger Hamilton Jr., Wealth Dynamics has seven levels of truth. Hamilton says it’s important to understand which level you are currently at. To progress through the levels, one must gather at their current level in order for them to make use of it.
As you can see, Wealth Dynamics is very much a spiritual and intuitive path to acquiring wealth. As someone who has been on his own spiritual journey for more than a decade, I can relate to this approach.
Level 1: We Play Different Games.
It's only when one focuses on an individual game (instead of trying to play them all) that one can build wealth.
Hamilton argues that some people do not even buy into level one. For example, if one believes that you have to be born wealthy or lucky, then Wealth Dynamics may not be a fit.
Level 2: You Create Your Game
There is a personal game that is right for everyone. Level two gives you certainty.
Level 3: Mastery Brings Flow
Through repetition of playing your game, you get into flow and the game becomes easy. Flow is when you start loving your life and what you are doing because you're living your purpose.
Level 4: Flow Attracts Resources
At lower levels, one might think they need resources to be in flow. At level four, one accepts that resources come as a result of being in flow.
The more you live in flow, the more opportunities present themselves to you. At level four, you start to notice and take advantage of them.
Level 5: Flow Attracts Critical Moments
When playing a sport, it's not as much about how many times the ball comes to you, but when it comes.
At level 5, one can start to control the timing of opportunities. Put another way, you can choose your luck and create your own results.
Entrepreneurs focus on their positioning, allowing great things to come their way.
Level 6: Flow Creates Something Bigger
One wakes up believing that great things are going to happen to them. They begin to look out for the signs.
Level 7: Flow Leads to Fortune
Things tune into you and out pops your purpose. Fortune happens when you open yourself up to something bigger, and 'luck' comes out from within.
Wealth Dynamics applies to all seven levels of truth. The key is finding which level you are on, and beginning from that starting point.
The Eight Wealth Dynamics Profiles
Now that you've identified your level, the next step is to understand how you create wealth. The good news is, there are only eight ways!
Here is an overview of the eight Wealth Dynamics profiles.
Creator: Creators are innovative and have a strong desire to create and build. Creators (like me!) are great at starting and terrible at finishing.
Star: Stars are leaders and have a strong desire for recognition and success. They are most comfortable when they are in the spotlight and have a platform to shine.
Stars build wealth by shining their light, often in the form of endorsements.
Supporter: Supporters are supportive and have a strong desire to help others. They are most comfortable when they are able to contribute and make a difference in the lives of others. They are great at leading teams.
Deal Maker: Dealmakers are strategic and have a strong desire to negotiate and make deals. They are most comfortable when they are able to bring people together and find win-win partnerships. Deal Makers often partner with stars and become their agents.
Trader: Traders are adaptable and have a strong desire to trade and exchange value. They are able to identify opportunities and create value through exchanges. Traders win by showing up every day and making incremental progress.
Accumulator: Accumulators are disciplined with a strong desire to accumulate wealth and resources. Warren Buffett is the quintessential accumulator.
Lord: Lords have a strong desire to lead and oversee. They are most comfortable when they are able to set the direction and vision for a group or organization. They often manage assets.
Mechanic: Mechanics are practical and have a strong desire to fix and improve. They are most comfortable when they are able to identify problems and find solutions to them. Mechanics come into existing businesses and make them better.
Most individuals can relate to more than one profile, but there is always a dominant one.
I for example am a creator, but have a Star 'wing'. Wings are secondary profiles that you can tap into if needed.
Which profile are you?
Wealth Dynamics Insights
Businesses all have seasons and different people are required at different times.
Like how there are four seasons, the Wealth Dynamics profile follows the same principle.
Spring is when flowers bloom and businesses start. Creators are key because they start things. Highly intuitive, their heads are in the clouds and they are full of ideas.
Supporters blaze things ahead in the summer, building teams and expanding.
Dealmakers, traders, and accumulators are needed in autumn as they have incredible timing.
Lords and Mechanics come in winter to preside over assets and improve systems.
Wealth Dynamics Partnerships
Wealth dynamics has a simple principle for finding people to help you build wealth. Looking at the chart of profiles, work in clockwise order.
First, find the person two to your right. For example, I'm a creator and am in need of supporters. If you're a star, find a dealmaker.
The second person you need is three to their right. A creator would find a supporter, and then jump three spaces to an accumulator. (This is because creators spend a lot of money, and need someone to hold them accountable).
Stars should first find a dealmaker and then look for a lord, someone to oversee the wealth they generate.
This simple framework can help you best attract the people you need to accumulate wealth.
Wealth Dynamics Next Steps
I'm not selling anything and don't get paid for this. I've never spoken to anyone in the Wealth Dynamics community.
If this piques your interest and you want to learn more, watch the two videos above.
While watching, try to guess which profile you are in. Second, take the profile test. It's a detailed 36-page report which will tell your more about your strengths.
It will give you specific insights into your 'spider graph' which is where you fit into each section.
As I mentioned I'm a creator with a star wing. The spider graph shows the exact percentages for each.
I knew from watching the video I was a creator and star, but I am surprised I have no tempo or steel.
This means I am almost exclusively intuitive in my thinking. This reinforced how much I need to partner with people who appreciate details.
Second, I'm extroverted. I need to be around people to thrive.
Third, I live in Spring and Summer. I move fast and get bored quickly. I need others who can keep up.
Let’s Partner Up!
I'm looking for Supporters and Accumulators to partner with.
Here's another graph that summarizes my strengths and who I'm looking for.
I'm a visionary, and love marketing. I need an integrator, finance person, and ops lead.
